Rachel Lilia Nahaleonalani Clute, 19, of Kaneohe, Oahu, died April 11 at Pali Momi Medical Center on Oahu. Born in Kaneohe, she was a sophomore student and cross-country runner at University of Hawaii at Hilo. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hope Chapel Kaneohe Bay, 45-815 Pookela St. in Kaneohe. Service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Survived by parents, Mike and Stephanie Clute; brothers, Lokahi and Makamae Clute. Yvonne “Nani” Haunani De Canto, 68, of Hilo died April 8. born in Honolulu, she was a retired paramedical assistant and a former outreach counselor for Pearl City Mental Health Clinic on Oahu. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 522 Ponahawai Street, Hilo. Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Lunch gathering to follow. Oahu visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday, May 5, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kalihi Ward, 1723 Beckley Street, Honolulu. Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Lunch to follow. George “Sunny” Rae Meisner Jr., 86, of Kealakekua died April 23 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired mechanical engineer and a U.S. Naval Reserve and Merchant Marine officer who served in the South Pacific during World War II. Services at a later date. Luman N. Nevels Jr., 88, of Honolulu, died April 18 in Honolulu. Born in Maine, he was an attorney, a 3rd Circuit Court judge in Hilo and U.S. Navy veteran. Private services at a later date. Survived by wife, Mary Ann Nevels; son, Joel Nevels; daughters, Lali DeWolfe and Ranee Nevels; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
